CandyLand is a simple board game designed for young children. I have never played it and I don’t think I wan’t to, but that’s just my opinion. It is an old game, dating back to 1949, when it was first designed by Eleanor Abbott.
Basically, the story line of the game is to save King Kandy, the lost king. It is a simple race to the end of the board. To move, there is a stack of colored cards. The color you pick up is the color of space that you move to. For example, if I picked up an orange card, I would move to the nearest orange tile.
It seems like a pretty boring game, but the display is actually very good for an old game.
So if you see it, pick it up and give it a go.
